Monaco Grand Prix 2013

Race day is here, this is what it all boils down to, the pinnacle of motor racing, the Monaco Grand Prix.
The rain had cleared and we awoke to a beautiful morning, there was not a cloud in the sky as we made our way into Monaco. For this weekend I have been armed with GoPros! We have constructed a rig which I wear and it sees exactly what I do, we plan to create a video blog from this weekend which we will post up very soon! Should be a great 'behind the scenes' look at Monaco!
As I loaded myself up with all my gear and strapped on the rig, I made my way from media parking to the pits. As well as being a Motorsport photographer I am of course a massive fan, I could not contain my excitement; as the smell of burning rubber mixed with the salty sea air.
A great couple of races, with 'Nico’s' winning in both the F1 and Renault 3.5 series (Mueller and Rosberg.) We then made our way back to the hotel to process the images from the day, and if any of you have attended the Monaco Grand Prix before you know it's near impossible to drive out of Monaco!
As I was working through the images I got call with an invite to the Gumball 3000 Monaco party. If you have never heard of the Gumball it's basically a Billionaire's pub crawl over a week spreading over 3000 miles. They race from city to city and at each checkpoint a massive party is thrown. A brilliant night was had by all! One I will remember for a very long time. See you next year Monaco, it's always a pleasure!
