Formula Renault 3.5

In 2012, the Tech 1 Racing team will again be competing on several fronts. First of all in the World Series by Renault, in which Simon and Sarah Abadie’s team will enter two cars in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and four in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Formula Renault ALPS is also on the Toulouse-based squad’s programme as is the GP3 series, held as a curtain-raiser to the F1 Grand Prix.

Tech 1 Racing keeps on evolving from one year to the next with a single objective in all the championships – victory! Before announcing its drivers in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, in Formula Renault 2.0 and in the GP3 Series, the team from Toulouse is unveiling its new logo and new colour scheme.

The new logo is more modern and expresses the young outfit’s desire to keep up its forward momentum. In just a few years, Tech 1 Racing has established itself as a benchmark in the world of single-seater racing. “We’ve rethought our whole colour scheme on the eve of the 2012 season,” explains Sarah Abadie, the Tech 1 Racing communications manager. “We’re keeping the red and black, our historic colours, but we’ve evolved the overall presentation with a harmony between the cars in the three championships we’re competing in to create a strong visual identity around Tech 1 Racing. This step is part of our on-going evolution. In the past few years we’ve built up a good structure and we’ve racked up a great set of results so now is the time to concretize our image and reinforce our name.”

Like last season Tech 1 Racing will be running on the most prestigious European circuits in the World Series by Renault, the GP3 Series and Formula Renault ALPS.
