Following a technical inspection at the conclusion of Race 1 at Motorland Aragon, stewards detected an irregularity in the stacking of the limited slip differential discs of the Tech 1 Racing car driven by Jules Bianchi and have subsequently decided to disqualify the driver from the race. (art. 19.15 Sporting regulations and Technical Regulations).
The competitor has lodged an appeal against the decision, and the standings for Motorland Aragon race 1 have been withheld for the time being.
