It was in 2000 in karting, when I was 10. I immediately went quicker than my friend who had lent me the kart!

That was also in 2000 in karting, at Catalunya. I qualified on pole position and won the race. I recorded faster times than the professionals.

My dad and my brother. They gave me my competitive spirit.
The first thing I do when I get home after a race
I think back over the race, once the pressure has died away.
The job I’d have liked if I hadn’t taken up driving
Actor – I started taking classes to be one. Journalism and other communication-related professions also interest me.
My favourite subject at school
To be honest, school wasn’t really my thing. Maths was the worst of the lot, and the only subject that interested me was English, as it’s something you need in motorsport.

I like Facebook the best, but I’m slowly getting into Twitter. I manage both accounts myself.
My favourite holiday destination
Punta Cana… although I’ve never been there!
What I think when I see myself on TV
Going on TV is part of the job. When I see myself on the screen, even though I don’t enjoy it that much, I don’t think I do too badly.
