Formula Renault 3.5
Following a report by the Technical Delegate, and after a meeting between the various parties involved, the Stewards found car #20 to be in breach of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series Technical Regulations. Consequently, Kevin Magnussen (DAMS) is excluded from the results of race one. This is due to his car's non-conformity to article 19.15 of the Sporting Regulations; article 3.1.1 of the Technical Regulations; and/or page 20 of the nomenclature, which states that anything not explicitly and expressly authorised by the Technical Regulations is prohibited.
The team of the driver concerned, DAMS, has confirmed its intention to appeal against the decision.
