Fortec Motorsports is delighted to announce the signing of Carlos Huertas for the 2012 World Series by Renault Formula Renault 3.5 season.
Huertas joins Fortec after an impressive season in British Formula Three where the Colombian finished third overall, taking victory at the season finale at Silverstone in October following multiple podium finishes this season. In his Formula Three campaign, Huertas consistently performed to the highest levels and he has proven himself to be an exceptional and exciting young racing talent, warranting a place in the prestigious World Series by Renault Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
Huertas has tested with the team in a Formula Renault 3.5 car and has impressed across the board; the Colombian has shown strong determination and dedication to his World Series by Renault campaign, adapting to the car and fitting in well with the Fortec squad.
