Interwetten.com Racing wants to take part in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup

The Austrian racing team Interwetten.com Racing would like to extend their engagement in World Series by Renault in 2010 and in addition to the World Series by Renault team, they are planning to create a "junior team" for the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

The idea behind the "junior team" is to recognise young talents at an early stage and to win them for the team by support and boost them constantly together with the main sponsor Interwetten.com. In case that a driver of the junior team wins the Eurocup Championship, Interwetten.com Racing will bear the costs for the entire World Series by Renault 3.5 series season. Drivers and team would benefit from this upgrade as this will increase the chances of success in Formula Renault 3.5 series for both. Thus, the young drivers will get familiar with the World Series by Renault 3.5 tracks in the early hours of their carrier.

With the creation of the junior team, the Austrian racing team would be committed to two series for the first time since their founding in 2001. By take a long view it could be the basis to link to the already proved successes.
