Comtec Racing is a Formula Renault 3.5 Series team, established in 2002 they are based near Snetterton circuit in Norfolk, UK.
Originally founded as the works Van Diemen Formula Ford team in 1973, with one simply aim, to win as many races and championships as possible, in order to aid Van Diemen in selling its product’s worldwide. Now an independent team, they continued to build on their sucess.
Comtec entered the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2006 and its first year provided Alx Daniellson with a championship winning car. The team has also had success in Formula Ford and Formula Renault 2.0 and has many British, European and world titles to its name.
